Bass Lake

We just got home from Bass Lake, Ca last night. What a LONG drive. We took the tent trailer, and camped with my mom and dad, brother, and sister and her husband. It was a lot of fun. On the way home yesterday we decided to drive through Yosemite. It was my first time. So beautiful! Brian and I loved it, We are going to plan a camping trip out there sometime in the next year.

We celebrated Thanksgiving, and Audrey and Kayla's birthdays. Tyler got his presents also. The kids love spending time with Nana and Papa. We have been very lucky the past few weekends. Grandma Kaye came to visit the weekend before last, and the kids loved spending time with her also.

Kayla got her very first report card on Fri. It put me in a great mood. She received All A's. I am very proud of all of her hard work. She is such a wonderful little girl. I am taking her to a secret place for a birthday present on Sat. Kayla's best friend's birthday is tomorrow, So Gillian's mom and I bought them a special gift which we are going to go and see this weekend. I am very excited, Kayla nor Gillian have any idea where or what we are going to do.

Audrey is going to turn 1 on Thursday. Brian went out and bought her a birthday present today. I bought her a TON of new outfits a few weeks ago for her birthday. She is already wearing them, however she doesn't know the difference yet. We are going to have a small party for her later on this week.

Hope you all are well, Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Moving!

This week has been very hectic. We got our first sign of winter last week. We were putting the kids to bed and looked out the window and it was SNOWING! So we all got on our winter clothes and had a snow ball fight!

On top of my normal chores and activities, we decided to change the kids rooms around. I have moved Kayla into Audrey's old room, and Tyler and Audrey are sharing Kayla's old room. Tyler's room is going to be an office/ guest room. I thought it would help Audrey, next month we will be taking away Audrey's bottle. She is turning 1. She has only depended on a bottle for the past 3 months, I just thought it might be difficult to fall asleep without it. I was alittle nervous about the change at first, but am reminded daily how wonderful our idea was. Tyler and Audrey are so close, they will both sit in their beds and giggle and chat and then fall asleep. I have been busy cleaning and finding new places for all three kids toys. I will turn on silly kid songs and Ty and Audrey will stay in their room playing and dancing for at least 30 min. Which is a huge deal when you have two toddlers 22 months apart! I give them baths at night, sometimes together, sometimes apart. Then we read a story or two, and then turn on classical music and the two kids chat and fall asleep nicely. I pray it continues!

Kayla is doing well, she has this cough so we have missed a few days at the pool. She is doing very well, Brian got all the kids costumes last weekend, and Kayla is going to go Trunk or Treating with her brownie troop tomorrow. Instead of houses we are going to cars, then they will have a carnival inside the school. I am taking her 3 best friends so I will have my hands full. Brian is having surgery in the morning, so I will be on my own, wish me luck!

Oh yeah.... And Audrey took 5-6 steps and I caught it on video! She will be walking really soon, probably right before her 1st birthday, just like Tyler.

Last week was Crazy!

I have been so busy lately! The gang is doing well! Tyler has been talking in sentences. I am able to understand him a little better. He is a little comedian. I am amazed at the things he does and says. His favorite thing to do is cuddle with me. I love it! He asks me almost every day if he can go play with his friends. He says Mom, Play with my friends Please...................... It is so cute! He is 100% potty trained and has been for the past 6 months. He loves to play with dinosaurs and trucks. His favorite things are "Race Cars". Like father, like son! Tyler's newest thing is " Yeah.... GO Raiders!" Wonder where he learned that? He runs around the living room, while Brian is watching football, yelling and chasing his own football around. He is such a BOY. Tyler loves to read books. We read 2-3 books before nap time and then 2-3 more at bedtime. He will sit quietly listening to all the stories. Right now his favorite book is the counting baby Einsteins book. But his favorite changes on a weekly basis. Tyler can't wait for his birthday. We still have a few months to go. He runs around excited, say My birthday party is next! We keep telling him, it is Audrey's then Kayla's and then Jesus' and THEN Tyler's. But he insists that everyday is his Birthday Party! I hope everyone who is reading this is doing well. I can't wait to see all of you family members really soon!

Kayla

Hi everyone! Poor Kayla is stuck in a home run by babies! So here is a tribute to my big baby girl! She is 7 almost 8. She is one busy girl. She is on the Swim team and is going to start competing at the end of this month! Kayla is a little bit nervous, however I am positive she will be great! Kayla just started playing soccer for her school's team. Kayla's new school is GREAT! As a parent, I am very pleases with the curriculum and all the activities! She is going to join the Drama club which will be taking off this week. I am the new Drama coach! She is so excited that I have volunteered for the position. It is just one more thing on my plate, but seeing her reaction was worth it! The Drama club was not going to happen this year, and I believe drama is a healthy way for children to express their feelings. So of course, I volunteered! Kayla is a really good girl, she has her mom and dad's temper.... It is especially bad when she doesn't eat on a regular schedule. Kayla loves her brother and sister so much. A few weeks ago Kayla woke me up in the middle of the night crying and shaking because she had a dream someone kidnapped Audrey. She wouldn't go back to sleep until she checked on her sister. As soon as she saw Audrey safe, sleeping, she went to bed herself. Kayla is at this independent stage, yet she still loves me to hold and cuddle her. She has such a big heart. She love to sing and dance, and she is really good at both! I love watching her grow. I am amazed at how smart she is. Her favorite books are non- fiction. She likes to learn about animals and England, for some reason she is very interested in England's history. Kayla, has taught me so much about life, love, and motherhood! I am so blessed to have her in my life! Kayla mommy loves you SO MUCH!

Britney Spears

OK Britney, what are you doing to my child? This is a perfect example of what is wrong with our society. Does Britney, Paris, or whats that red heads name...Lindsay, really think they are better then the rest of us? No wonder kids now don't have any respect for their elders. I was driving home the other day and a punk kid was walking in the middle of the street, come on kid why do you think sidewalks were invented? I stopped to let him cross and he threw his arms up and make snotty remarks to me. I just waved him to cross the darn street. I would have never disrespected anyone like that when I was 10. He had to be 10 or maybe 11. I guess it is no surprise, these kids roll models are arrogant and have no regard for authority. I am only 26 yrs old, have things really changed that much since I was a kid?

More summer photos!

Ok my wireless connection is having

PROBLEMS! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

So I am finally getting in on this whole "BLOGGING" thing. I know, I am the last person in the 20Th century to do so. Well since we are away from most of our family and friends, this is the next best way to watch my children grow. We had a very exciting summer! June we spent in Orange County, Annie got married. She made such a beautiful bride. I was the Matron of honor, Kayla was the flower girl, and Tyler was the ring barer. After the wedding we went to Disneyland, Tyler is still talking about it! JULY: We bought a 2004 tent trailer! The kids and I spent a week at lake Shasta with my parents Brian had to work so he drove and dropped us off! Too bad my dad's brand new boat broke. We were stuck and it rained, with thunder and lightning. It was really a cool sight. I really enjoyed just hanging out with my kids and my family. AUG: Kayla started school. She is at a new school this year. She looks so cute in her uniforms. I am really excited about the education she is getting at this new school. She is really maturing into a beautiful intelligent young lady. I love watching her grow everyday. Our new favorite thing to do on the weekends is pack up last minute Friday night and drive somewhere, anywhere and camp. We live in such a beautiful part of the world. There are so many new places to explore right in our backyard. Tyler is starting to speak in sentences. He is such a wonderful human being, I thank god everyday for blessing me with a son. Growing up with mostly girls, this is a new experience for me. Everyday Audrey changes! She is crawling all over and standing on furniture. She is really smart, Audrey waves bye bye, and she says momma, Dada, and Lola ( our dog) she yells at the dogs to be quite, she claps and give high fives. I am just amazed at how fast she learns new things. Brian and I are enjoying our life to the fullest. We fall more in love with each other everyday. He has taught me so much about life and love. I am truly blessed to be able to stay home with my kids. I am however volunteering at a home for young pregnant women. I am learning so much about people, things I would have never imagined I would learn. I am a mentor for a young lady right now. I love working there and maybe would like to pursue a job in social work or counseling. Who knows, I love the real estate industry but I would really like to make a difference in other people's lives. Well that's enough about me until the next time!
